Echo Ranks - "Clean Up Your Act / Dub" NUFF03/7"

Echo Ranks - "Clean up your act"

The recording session with Echo Ranks for "Wikidness Increase" resulted in voicing a digital rhythm track we had been working on for quite a while. The great lyrics and heartful delivery of Echo's vocal did not leave us much choice but to release our first attempt at the 'digital revival' style. This is the first release on the "NuffPowa Digital" series, which is intended for releasing similar digi roots in the future.

Dub Providers feat. Echo Ranks - "Wikidness Increase/Wikid a fe run" NUFF02/12"

For our second release we have teamed up with Leicester talent Echo Ranks. Echo's vocal leads into his own "toasting", following the footsteps of legendary singers/DJs Lion Youth and Kojak. The b-side features a sax instrumental of the rhythm and the dub version. We are also introducing our new brass section, the Powa Horns!

Players of instruments:

Vocal: Echo Ranks
Bass, Rhythms: Walker
Drums, Percussion (Kete): I-Mitri
Brass: Powa Horns (Andy 'Sax" Fell, Joe Auckland)

Dub Providers meet Counteraction Soundz - "Heartful Man / Improvement Movement" THC01/7"

Side B - Dub Providers - "Improvement Movement"

Our good friends from Athens based label THC record approached us and collaborator I-Mitri from Counteraction Soundz for their first release. The result is a 7" with I-Mitri's heavy vocal track "Heartfull Man on the a-side and our own 'left-field' remix of the track on the b-side titled "Improvement Movement". Many thanks to THC records for the release!

Dub Providers feat. Splitz Horns - "Jacob's Ladder / Tues Blues" NUFF01/10"

Side A - "Jacob's Ladder"

Side B - "Tues Blues"

Our very first release features the mighty Splitz Horns from Leicester, in two back-to-back instrumental scorchers! All tracks are recorded using live instruments, staying as true as possible to Reggae's roots.

Our first track, "Jacob's Ladder", is a stepper instrumental and is named after the last part of ascent on the Blue Mountain in Jamaica. If you have tried to visit the top of the mountain you will know how steep it is!
The b-side "Tues Blues" is a rockers style instrumental and comes extended

Players of instruments:

Bass, Rhythms: Walker
Drums, Percussion (Kete): I-Mitri
Lead Guitar: Walker, Dr. Nebya (Tues Blues)
